Chosen Soldiers of the Cross

Chosen Soldiers of the Cross is a brand new 3-book series written by James Fitzhenry and presented by Catholic Vitality Publications.

Set against the dramatic events of the Great Siege of Malta in 1565, Chosen Soldiers of the Cross – The Gathering is the first installment of the series. They are Catholic historical novels of faith, adventure, military conflict, and redemption. They bring to life the men who stood against a mighty empire.

These books combine historically grounded military detail with a character-driven story of leadership, courage, and endurance. The Knights Hospitaller are more than a backdrop to adventure: their brotherhood and vocation lie at the heart of the novel. Catholic faith is a lived reality, shaping decisions, demanding sacrifice, and sustaining men under siege. The struggle against the Ottoman Empire unfolds as a consequential clash between civilizations, fought by men whose convictions carry both a spiritual purpose and a terrible human cost.

As the Ottoman assault approaches, courage will be tested, loyalties strained, and lives changed by decisions made in the shadow of death. In a world where ambition and greed can tempt even the boldest hearts, the defenders of Malta must discover what it truly means to serve.

The first book of a compelling three-book series, it draws readers into a world of faith, valor, and spiritual purpose. This book explores themes of devotion, unity, and a higher calling that resonates deeply with those who appreciate stories of courage and conviction. Perfect for fans of faith-based narratives, with epic storytelling and inspirational content, this title promises an engaging and thought-provoking experience. Add this title to your collection and immerse yourself in a story of purpose and perseverance.
