Saint Charbel Novena
Saint Charbel Makhlouf, O.L.M. was a Maronite monk and priest from Lebanon who died in 1898. During his life, he obtained a wide reputation for holiness which was confirmed by so many miracles that he was recognized as the “Miracle Monk of Lebanon” and known as a wonderworker even among the Moslems who were aware of his sanctity. Many favors are still received through his intercession, and thousands of miracles of healing have occurred at his tomb in the Monastery of Saint Maron in Annaya, Lebanon. He was canonized in 1977 by Pope Paul VI and his feast is celebrated on July 24 by the Catholic Church.

We give You our gratitude for giving him the strength and blessings to detach himself from the world so that his monastic virtues of poverty, obedience, and chastity could triumph in his hermitage.
We implore you to give us the grace to continue loving and serving You by following his example.
